My name is  Liz and baking is my passion.  I grew up in a household where my mom was always in the kitchen making  amazing creations, from homemade pies, breads, muffins, to  cakes and cookies.  She taught me the basics of baking and the science behind the ingredients. I also cultivated that love of baking and found that I could create little pieces of art within my baking.  Making  decorated sugar cookies is  my artistic outlet.  As I sit down at a batch of cookies, piping bag in hand, my mind focuses just on those little cookie canvases and the world disappears.   I love to make little pieces of edible art for every occasion.  To see the joy on the face of children and adults when they have a little treat personalized just for them is priceless.
